This is an exciting opportunity to support an individual living with cerebral palsy and epilepsy in his own home—helping with personal and domestic care, moving & lifting, and communication assistance. The client is an 11-year-old male living in his own home, whom you will be supporting on a 2:1 basis
He lives with cerebral palsy and epilepsy and uses a wheelchair for mobility
The client requires all personal care, medication administration, and use of specialist equipment
He enjoys board games, days out, going for drives, and listening to musicSuccessful Applicant:
Must have at least 12 months of previous experience in complex care settings
We require someone who drives and can accept a UK manual or automatic licence
We would love someone who is bubbly, engaging, with great communication skills, and a kind, caring nature
Previous experience in epilepsy management and cerebral palsy would be desirableThis is an incredible opportunity to make a real difference in another person’s life.
