Prospero Teaching are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join the EYFS team at a nurturing and warm school in northern Winchester. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young children by providing personalised support to those with special educational needs.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
Support two children with special educational needs within the EYFS setting.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to help children develop their communication, social, and emotional skills.
Use creative strategies to engage and motivate pupils with additional needs.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Assist with the observation and assessment of pupil's development.About you:

Position -SEN Teaching Assistant

Full time/part-time - Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. For the right candidate, the school can offer full time work.
Hours - Standard working hours 8.30am-3:15pm (times may vary).
Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
Experience working with children with special educational needs, ideally within an EYFS or early years setting (desirable)
Relevant qualifications in childcare, early years, or special education (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, SEN-related qualifications(desirable).To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
