Our client in Stoke on Trent, a well-known logistics company are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers.

There will be permanent opportunities for experienced drivers that prove themselves to be reliable and have a good work ethic.

The role will be starting immediately!

Duties

· Driving depo to depo, drop and swap

· Deliver mixed size goods from large car parts to small packaging items

· Ensuring that the load is safely strapped in line with legislation

· No heavy lifting for the driver

· Safety operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle

· Transport goods and materials to their designated locations

· Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

· Conduct pre and post trip inspections of the deliveries vehicle

· Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups

Requirements

· Holding a valid CPC and Taco Card

· Valid Class 1 HGV license

· Minimum of 2 years of experience as a class 1 driver

· Not more then 6 points

· Communication and organizational skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Shifts & Pay

· Day Shifts Pay Rate : £15.77

· Night Shift Pay Rate 19.17

All shifts are Monday-Friday (no weekends), and start times can be any time from 04:00 to 21:00.
