Remuneration: £35,000 - £45,000neg

The role of the Internal Sales – Timber Products will involve:
* Internal Sales Manager position selling a range of predominantly softwood timber products and sheet panel materials (but also joinery, softwood and decorative surfaces)
* Selling into various main contractors, and subcontractors including joinery contractors, building contractors, housebuilders, fencing contractors, hoarding contractors, façade contractors, shop fitters as well as occasional retail trade end users
* Dealing with inbound sales enquiries via telephone and email
* Pro-actively selling, following up leads and enquiries promptly
* Producing quotes to customers and following up to convert sale
* Providing excellent customer service to clients and building relationships
* An element of looking for potential new business opportunities
* Supporting with general requirements from the branch and sales team
The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales – Timber Products with:
* Must have timber sales experience
* Must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Wanting to forge a career – excellent scope to progress to management level
* Driven, enthusiastic, hungry with a passion for the product and company
* Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
