Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are assisting a client to recruit a Tax Junior to support the ongoing growth and success of their accountancy practise.
Job description
Our client is a West Yorkshire-based firm of chartered accountants with successful offices in Leeds, Wakefield and Halifax looking to recruit a Tax Junior to work in our expanding tax department. Ideally would be a college leaver with a fine attention to detail. You would be studying towards ATT qualification (Association of Taxation Technician).
Job role:
* Completion of Self-Assessment tax returns for a wide range of individuals, Partnerships and Trusts
* Completion of associated tax computations including calculations of capital gains.
* Preparation of P11D’s
* Assisting with preparation of Payroll
* Assistance with the preparation of corporate tax computations
* Ensuring technical competence and accuracy of the department’s work through review
* Adherence to statutory and other deadlines
* Liaising extensively with clients in relation to day-to-day compliance and planning issues
* Identification of planning opportunities
* Any other taxation support required within our busy office.
