Service Technician

Location: Chipping Warden, Northamptonshire

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week (Site open 6am-7pm)

Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Igloo is recruiting Service Technicians for a leading automotive company in Chipping Warden. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company with a national presence.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform PDI, repairs, and basic mechanical work.

* Rectify issues to manufacturer standards.

* Use the AssetCare system for job management.

* Complete workshop documentation and follow procedures.

* Ensure a clean and organized workspace.

* Accurately request and issue parts.

* Work collaboratively to maintain productivity.

* Identify and report defects or failures.

* Keep tools and equipment safe and functional.

* Interpret technical service information and ensure health & safety compliance.

Requirements:

* Essential: City & Guilds 1, 2, & 3 in Motor Vehicle Studies.

* At least 3 years' workshop experience.

* Desirable: Manufacturer training (including EV/Hybrid), diagnostic skills, and willingness to continue training.

* Team player with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
