The client is looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join their Client Payroll Team. This is a pivotal role responsible for the accurate and timely processing of multiple payrolls on behalf of a wide-ranging client base, including SMEs, sole traders, and larger corporate entities across diverse and creative industries.

You'll be joining a forward-thinking firm with a progressive attitude toward employee growth, system improvement, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients with varying payroll frequencies (weekly, fortnightly, and monthly)
Ensure accurate calculation of statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP), tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions.
Maintain up-to-date payroll records and ensure compliance with UK legislation.
Communicate directly with clients to resolve queries, request data, and provide updates - acting as a trusted advisor.
Process new starters, leavers, changes, and ensure RTI submissions are filed accurately and on time.
Assist with year-end processes, including P60s, P11Ds, and reconciliation tasks.
Collaborate with other departments internally to deliver a seamless client experience.
Keep up to date with changes in payroll legislation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience working in a client payroll environment (preferred but not essential - in-house payroll backgrounds also considered).
A genuine interest in building long-term client relationships and delivering a high standard of service.
Solid knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC reporting requirements
Experience using payroll software (e.g., Sage, BrightPay, IRIS, or similar).
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and time management abilities.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
