Role - Field Service Engineer
Location - Midlands, East of England, South of England
Hours – Monday to Friday (Days) 37.5 hours per week
Package - £45k plus Door to Door pay (OTE £53k) Overtime at x1.5 and x2.0

The Business is one of the biggest Engineering and Electronics manufacturers in the World. Operating across all sectors of Engineering and Manufacturing, they have an incredibly broad portfolio of products and solutions to offer.
This particular role sits within their Industrial Cooling sector, which provides high end, bespoke industrial cooling plant for Data Centres and Laboratory Environments. With the demand for ever bigger and ever more powerful Server and Data Systems, they are busier than ever and are expanding their Service Department to match the growing demand from customers.
The Role
The Field Service Engineer will be working on a mix of traditional refrigerant and cooling plant, alongside Direct Expansion Cooling systems (DX). The majority of the work will be focused around London and the Home Counties, plus East and West Midlands, with jobs typically taking a day to complete.
Day to Day, the Field Service Engineer will be required to perform routine maintenance, and safety checks on all chiller and refrigeration equipment. This could include the checking and servicing of pumps and pipework, refrigerant and coolant checks, and software updates to control systems.
The Field Service Engineer will need to have a solid background in dealing with Liquid Chiller Plants, plus have experience working with Refrigerants, with a valid F-Gas Qualification.
As this role is covering large parts of the UK, there will be the occasional need to stay away, however this is at the Engineer’s discretion based on Travel times and length of jobs.
As their systems are completely bespoke, full product training will be provided which will include a two week trip to their manufacturing plant in Italy, so a valid passport will be required.
The Candidate
* Previous experince working on industrial cooling and chilling plant
* Need to be based in the Midlands, East of England or South of England
* Happy to travel UK wide and stay away when required
* Must hold an F-Gas Qualification
* Must hold a Full UK Driving license
