Science Teacher Position at Alternative Provision School
Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire
Salary: Based on experience, aligned with the main teacher pay scale in the fringe area
Contract Type: Long-term, with the potential to become permanent

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our Alternative Provision School in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. Our school offers individualised learning experiences for 60 students, with a maximum of 6 students per class. Science is delivered up to GCSE level, though many students are focused on vocational qualifications.
Role Overview:
As a Science Teacher, you'll be responsible for designing dynamic and engaging lessons tailored to each student's unique learning needs. Working alongside our passionate team of educators, you'll play a vital role in supporting the educational journey of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver high-quality science lessons up to GCSE level
Design and maintain personalised education plans for each student
Provide regular progress updates to students and their families
Track and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and other key stakeholdersQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, but teaching experience is also valued
Experience teaching science up to GCSE level
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
