Boden Group deliver facilities maintenance services, project construction and refurbishment works to the Ministry of Defence and commercial clients at multiple sites in the South West and South East.

This role can be based at one of our offices in Barnstaple, Tiverton, or Amesbury, with an element of travel required.

Main duties of the role:
* Develop and manage project programmes, ensuring alignment with client objectives and internal timelines.
* Produce milestone payment schedules to facilitate accurate billing and maintain financial stability
* Conduct detailed cash flow forecasts to manage the financial planning of projects effectively.
* Manage the procurement of subcontract labour, issuing and analysing RFQs (Request for Quotations) to secure cost-effective and high-quality services.
* Prepare and submit monthly or milestone payment applications to clients in accordance with contractual requirements.
* Produce Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and Cost to Complete reports, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
* Attend client meetings to provide project updates, address concerns, and build strong relationships.
* Collaborate with the Site Manager or Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
* Regularly monitor and control project costs to avoid overruns and ensure profitability.
* Assist the estimating team by conducting site surveys and measurements to inform accurate bids and tender submissions.
* Identify and monitor project risks, preparing and updating risk registers as necessary to mitigate potential issues.
Required Skills and Abilities:
* Proven experience as a Project Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor, or in a similar role within the construction or facilities management sector.
* Strong understanding of project programming, cost control, and cash flow management.
* Familiarity with subcontractor procurement and issuing RFQs.
* Excellent numeracy and analytical skills, with the ability to prepare financial reports.
* Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
* Proficiency in using project management and financial software tools.
* Accreditation in RICS or a similar professional body
* A relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Experience with M&E systems and risk management
* Familiarity with MOD or similar procurement processes.
