Description

Oversee all payroll operations to ensure accurate and timely payment.
Identify areas that require improvement and efficiency and implementing these changes.
Manage and guide the payroll team towards achieving set objectives.
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
Handle payroll queries and resolve issues promptly.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline payroll processes.
Manage monthly payroll reconciliations and audits.
Provide payroll reports to management for decision-making.
Keep abreast of payroll tax laws and regulations.Profile

A successful Payroll Specialist should have:

A strong background in Accounting & Finance.
Proven experience in a role of this nature or Payroll Specialist position.
Proficiency in payroll software and systems - ideally Itrent.
Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Job Offer

Salary up to £35,000 per annum equivalent + 6 month fixed term role + immediate start + hybrid working (1-2 days in the office) + accessible Hull location + excellent staff benefits + potential for this contract to be extended
