Solar PV Design Engineer required for our client, a provider of Renewable Energy, Heating & Electrical solutions. The Solar PV Design Engineer will be working across Commercial and Domestic projects, and will be designing solar PV Energy systems.

Our client are seeking an experienced Solar PV Design Engineer with ideally 5 years experience in this field. You will be experienced in all areas of design, including rooftop layouts and electrical schematics.

Solar PV Design Engineer Remuneration

* £35,000 - £40,000 DOE

Solar PV Design Engineer Responsibilities

* Design and develop both commercial and domestic solar PV systems

* Create & manage DNO applications

* Use design software such as OpenSolar & PV Sol

* Ensure all designs comply with relevant MCS standards, and building regulations

Solar PV Design Engineer Requirements

* 2 years of experience designing Solar PV systems

* Strong proficiency in designing solar PV systems, including rooftop design, electrical schematics, and system layouts

* Experience with OpenSolar & PVSol or similar solar design software

* Knowledge of hybrid energy systems and battery storage solutions

* Experience with domestic PV system design
