Responsibilities

* Prepare metal surfaces for polishing via cleaning, sanding and degreasing.

* Polish precision components using buffing machines, sanders, grinders and hand tools to smooth and shine surfaces of aerospace and medical components.

* Self-inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards

* Maintain and completed required documentation for products

Experience and Knowledge

* Proven experience as a metal polisher, fettler, finisher, or deburrer.

* Proficiency in using polishing tools, machinery and techniques

* An understanding of different metal types and their polishing requirements

* Experience in fettling is desirable

* High attention to detail
