Job Title: Welfare Officer

Location: Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire

Salary: £21,000 Pro Rata (£27,300 FTE) - Term Time Only (40 weeks per year)

Contract: Temporary £110pd PAYE (Immediate Start), permanent for the right candidate

Are you a compassionate and organised professional looking to make a difference in a vibrant school environment? We are seeking a Welfare Officer to join our client's dedicated team at a prestigious independent school.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide care for sick, injured, and distressed pupils in the medical room.
Manage first aid provisions, including risk assessments, accident reporting, and maintaining first aid supplies.
Develop and maintain health care plans for pupils, ensuring their wellbeing.
Offer personalised support and advice to pupils on various wellbeing issues, including mental health and relationships.
Train staff on emergency first aid and specific health issues.
Assist with the coordination of school events, trips, and charitable activities.
Support the reception team and manage lost property.Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Safeguarding Statement:
