A leading Engineering consultancy in West Leeds are looking to recruit a CAD Technician with experience in Civil & Structural Engineering as well as some knowledge of Architectural projects. The CAD Technician will be rewarded by working in a fun relaxed environment that have regular social events in the office and outside and be rewarded with a generous salary up to £40,000 for the right candidate as well as flexible working hours with a core hours of 10-3 being covered and working form home options.
The CAD Technician will be working on Structural, Civil and Architectural projects of within the commercial, industrial and housing development buildings including substructure.

CAD Technician Job Overview
Collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers to produce accurate and high-quality design documentation for a variety of projects
Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and layouts based on project specifications and design concepts.
Utilize CAD software to develop and modify drawings for structural, architectural, or mechanical projects.
Ensure design accuracy and compliance with industry standards
Review and revise drawings based on feedback and changes in project scope.
Maintain organized project files and documentation, ensuring version control and accuracy.
Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations by providing visual representations of designs.
CAD Technician Job Requirements
HND / HNC or certification in CAD technology or a related discipline
Proficiency in CAD software, AutoCAD and Revit
Familiarity with 3D modelling tools
Experience working on multi-disciplinary projects
Basic understanding of engineering or architectural principles
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawing specifications
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to project changes.
