Job Title: Water Hygiene Technician
Location: Midlands (primarily Derby and Nottingham), with national coverage as needed
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum

Benefits: Company vehicle, tools provided, 32 days holiday (including bank holidays), overtime pay (1.5x on Saturdays, double time on Sundays), occasional overnight stays covered

About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-regarded company in the water hygiene sector, for a Water Hygiene Technician. This role is ideal for someone with experience in water hygiene who is familiar with water system maintenance and compliance. Working mainly across the Midlands, you will be involved in scheduled and occasional reactive tasks, with the flexibility to work nationally when required.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine water hygiene tasks, including legionella risk, tank inspections, and temperature monitoring in line with ACoP L8 guidelines

* Monitor and ensure water quality and system safety

* Accurately document reports and findings for each task

* Participate in training to maintain up-to-date knowledge on industry standards

Requirements:

* Experience in water hygiene or a related field (2-5 years’ experience)

* Knowledge of water hygiene best practices

* Strong attention to detail and reliability

* Ability to work independently and travel as needed

* Full, valid driving license
