About the role:
HLTA: We are looking for a passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a forward-thinking primary school in Brent. This is a great opportunity to support teachers and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 while helping students reach their full potential.
As an HLTA, you will assist with lesson planning, deliver interventions, and cover classes as needed. Your role will focus on creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.

Application Requirements:
• HLTA qualification (or equivalent)
.• Proven experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
.• Ability to deliver small group interventions and cover classes confidently.
• A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Support teaching staff in the planning and preparation of lessons.
• Provide targeted interventions to boost student progress in literacy and numeracy.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive and focused environment.
• Offer one-on-one or small group support to students with varying needs.
