Company Overview
A well-established, highly respected main contractor is seeking a Senior Site Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of new-build, design and build projects up to £15M in Thetford and surrounding areas.

This role requires an experienced and proactive leader who can confidently manage all site operations from groundworks through to final handover, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage new-build, design and build projects from start to finish.

* Take full ownership of site operations, programme scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.

* Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

* Oversee cost control and procurement, ensuring best value for the project.

* Maintain high standards of quality control, ensuring all work meets the required specifications.

* Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams, ensuring strong working relationships.

Candidate Requirements

* Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager, delivering new-build and design and build projects up to £15M.

* A loyal and consistent employment history, demonstrating reliability and career progression.

* Strong technical knowledge of groundworks, structures, M&E, and finishing trades.

* Experience managing Health & Safety compliance, site logistics, and programme scheduling.

* Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.

* Relevant qualifications including CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, and Temporary Works Coordinator.
