About the Estimator Role
Currently seeking a skilled Estimator in Cambridge, specialising in highways and infrastructure projects. This contract role offers a competitive rate of £400-£450 per day. The role will involve working on high-value infrastructure projects and collaborating with the project and pre-construction teams to ensure cost estimates are accurate and competitive.

Key Responsibilities for the Estimator
* Developing detailed cost estimates for highways and infrastructure projects, including materials, labour, and resources.
* Evaluating project specifications and preparing bids and tender documentation.
* Coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and clients to obtain accurate cost information.
* Reviewing design documents and technical specifications to ensure correct pricing for proposals.

Requirements for the Estimator Role
* Demonstrated experience as an Estimator in highways or infrastructure construction.
* Strong understanding of estimating processes, procurement, and industry software.
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
* Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
