1st Staff are seeking a tutor to help and support a female student who needs support from a nurturing tutor to gain a education due to ASD, ADHD and Social emotional issues. You will be required to tutor for 15 hours per week in the following subjects Maths, English and Science.

Position Details

* Location - Students home

* Hours - 15 hours (sessions will be split 3 hours per day 5 days a week) 9.30am to 12.30pm

* Start date - ASAP

Skills & Experience Required:

* Confidence working with a range of SEN/SEMH and challenging behaviour

* Being able to cater lesson plans to the child's individual's needs

* Demonstrating a nurturing and supportive nature with good behaviour management skills.

* Rapport building with the child

* Good communication skills

* Being able to identify existing and potential barriers to students’ learning and help them to overcome them

* Be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outside according to the individual needs

* Have previous experience of working with children who have special educational needs

* Have a positive attitude and willingness to build a rapport with the child
