Senior Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering – Lichfield - c£70k

Are you looking for a new opportunity that will provide 5 years worth of local work on a major flagship project?

Our client is offering exactly that with a whole array of schemes on offer for HS2 including viaducts, overbridges, underbridges, embankments, tunnels, bypasses plus much more.

This blue chip contractor is looking to expand their commercial team with a Senior Quantity Surveyor who will be tasked with leading schemes for a specific section of HS2. Key duties will include: -

* Preparing subcontract invitations to tender, evaluate returns and place subcontracts accurately and on time

* Ensure that the companies commercial position is protected using understanding and experience of contractual, commercial, insurance and legal processes

* Commercially leading schemes ranging from £3m to £50m

* Working closely with the client, site teams and third party stakeholders to ensure successful and timely delivery of schemes

* Manage and develop more junior members of the commercial team
