EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a leading precision engineering company in Tamworth on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities of a Stores Operative:

* Performing manual stock checks (counting and recording stock levels)

* Data entry and system updates using Excel, Office, and ERP

* Stock control, including F.I.F.O and stock rotation

* General stores operative duties within a precision engineering environment

Requirements for the Stores Operative Role:

* Valid Counterbalance FLT licence

* Previous experience as a stores operative or in Warehousing, Stores, or Goods In (Manufacturing, Industrial, Retail, etc.)

* IT literate – confident using Windows-based ERP systems

* Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team

* Keen eye for detail and ability to follow stock control procedures
