Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting an IT Manager for our client in Telford, Shropshire . The role is a permanent role for an up and coming IT Manager.

Hours of work:

Monday – Friday

40 hours per week

Pay

£40,000 - £50,000 per annum dependent on experience

Description and key responsibilities as an IT Manager:

Lead and oversee IT teams
Align IT initiatives
Provide technical support
Promote collaboration across locations
Provide hands on support to company colleagues as needed
Establish and maintain relationships with IT vendors and service providers
Oversee contract negotiations 
Stay updated on technology trends to maintain company's competitiveness
Occasional travel within Europe
Qualifications and skills required as an IT Manager:

Proficiency in SQL databases, Windows servers, and Windows clients

A minimum of 2-4 years' experience as an IT manager

Ability to work independently and take the lead in the IT domain

Strong organizational skills for managing business processes, contracts, and partnerships

Willingness to provide "hands-on" support for operations and projects

Fluent in English, both in writing and speech
