Control & Instrumentation Inspector

£34 per hour (outside IR35) + average 40hr week (Mon-Fri) + 5hrs paid travel time per week @£34 per hour + min 6month contract

Control & Instrumentation Inspector responsibilities include:

* Site-based, testing and inspecting Electrical products and instruments.

* Working on live, mega-scale construction site / project.

* Working towards testing and inspecting procedures.

* Analysing & interpreting data.

* Writing reports and producing documentation.

* Collaborating with the team on site & providing technical support.

* Act as Advisor providing technical and legislative advice where necessary.

Control & Instrumentation Inspector profile;

* Degree or similar level in electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering

* Minimum 10yrs electrical control and instrumentation Engineering experience + ideally 5yrs experience in inspections of said equipment.

* Experience working on large scale construction sites ideally in Oil & Gas, Renewables, Waste to Energy, Nuclear or similar.

* C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing certificate and fully conversant with 18th edition IEE Wiring Regulations; BS7671:2018

* Current UK driving license.

* Proven technical knowledge and understanding.

* Excellent customer service manner, with strong communications and interpersonal skills.
