Job Advertisement: Grounds Maintenance Operative (Temporary)

Location: EX39 2QG

Contract Type: 6-month contract with the possibility of an extension.

Working Hours: 37 hours per week, 08:00 - 16:00

Pay Rate: £14.36 per hour PAYE

Role and Responsibilities:

General manual work, sweeping, weeding, litter picking, and maintaining the hard streetscape. Training will be given if Strimmers, blowers, and other hand tools are required for the work. Must have a driving licence

We are performing routine grass-cutting and maintenance activities using appropriate equipment.
Ensuring all grounds are kept clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.
Carrying out general gardening tasks such as weeding, planting, and pruning.
Assisting with the upkeep of pathways, flowerbeds, and other landscaped areas.
Operating and maintaining tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
Adhering to health and safety guidelines while working on the grounds.
Collaborating with the team to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.Requirements:

Drivers Licence essential
Previous experience in Mowing, Cutting, Strimming, and planting
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Basic understanding of health and safety protocols.
