Senior Warehouse Operative

Location: Newbury, West Berkshire

Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm

Salary: £26,000 Per Annum

Duration: Permanent

Duties Will Include:

* Using manual systems to manage and record customer items coming in and out of the depot.

* Helping to maintain and operate forklifts, lifting tools, and other manual handling equipment.

* Packing, stacking, and organizing storage items like boxes, crates, and pallets.

* Keeping track of stocks and making sure we have the right equipment, like drying machines, on hand.

* Assisting with servicing and basic repairs of equipment (specialist training provided if needed).

* Helping with inventory tasks like barcoding and ensuring accurate stock levels.

* Organizing and facilitating equipment deliveries and collections for field teams.

* Occasionally traveling to other depots to collect or exchange equipment.

* Identifying equipment that’s no longer usable and reporting it for replacement.

* Maintaining good housekeeping—keeping the depot safe, tidy, and in line with company policies.

* Supporting audits and regular checks, such as fire safety inspections.

* Assisting with wet cleaning, ozone treatment, and drying processes when required.
