SEN Teacher
At the heart of every great school is a passionate teacher who brings more than just lesson plans to the classroom. We’re looking for an experienced SEN Teacher who understands that every child has potential, even if it takes a bit of creativity and patience to unlock it. If you’re ready to make a real impact on some of Derby's most vulnerable students, we want to hear from you.

The Role:
You’ll be working across three classes in a small, well-regarded school with a reputation for supporting staff and nurturing talent. The students are secondary-aged and present a range of needs, including autism, SEMH, EBD, and complex developmental delays. * Strong group facilitation skills to lead sessions and create a supportive learning environment.
Why This Role Stands Out:
In this role, planning is minimal, giving you the opportunity to focus on your interactions with the students and maintain a healthy work-life balance. The school understands that the key to effective teaching lies in a well-rounded support system, and they’ve built just that. Any class you cover will be well-staffed with SEN specialists and support staff, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity for the children’s progress.
What You’ll Be Joining:
* A school that is more than just a workplace – it’s a community.
* An environment that values dedication, innovation, and the drive to bring out the best in every child.
* A collaborative culture where staff are supported to grow professionally and encouraged to share ideas.
