PV Electrician

Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a well-established electrical and mechanical contractor based in Ipswich to work around the local area.

Due to expansion, they are currently recruiting for a skilled PV Electrician to join their growing team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and commissioning solar PV systems on domestic and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

* Install and commission domestic and commercial solar PV systems.

* Carry out electrical testing and fault finding on PV installations.

* Perform maintenance and repairs on solar PV systems.

Qualifications & Experience

* Essential:

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Systems or equivalent.

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

* Proven experience with solar PV installation (domestic and/or commercial).

* Full UK driving license.

* Desirable:

* C&G 2391 or equivalent Testing and Inspection qualification.

* MCS Certification experience.

* Knowledge of battery storage systems and EV charge points.
