GPW Recruitment is excited to present an excellent opportunity for a Strategic Procurement Specialist to join a leading organization in the aerospace and industrial sectors. This is a fantastic role for an experienced procurement professional looking to drive impactful sourcing strategies and negotiations.

* Start Date: ASAP
* Contract Length: 6-month rolling contract (with potential extension)
* Rate of Pay: £400 per day (Inside IR35)

Role Overview:
As a Strategic Procurement Specialist, you will:
* Lead sourcing activities and negotiations for a range of aerospace and industrial components.
* Manage contractual and price negotiations to mitigate risk and secure commercial advantages.
* Perform detailed cost breakdown analyses to achieve divisional cost-saving targets.
* Develop and implement robust Commodity and Supplier strategies.
* Drive cost reduction and resourcing programmes to support strategic goals.
* Collaborate closely with internal customers to ensure seamless integration of procurement strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
* 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and commodity management.
* Strong knowledge of component manufacturing processes and quality standards.
* Outstanding skills in Excel, communication, and stakeholder management.
* Excellent commercial, contractual, and project management expertise.
* Experience working with a global supplier base in a matrix environment.
* Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree and/or CIPS qualification is highly desirable.
