Senior Project Manager – Client-Side (Education Sector Construction)

Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager looking for a rewarding role overseeing impactful education projects? We are seeking a highly skilled individual to lead the delivery of new build and extension projects for the education sector.

The Role:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will work client-side, managing projects from inception to completion. You’ll oversee the design, procurement, and construction phases, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage multiple new build and extension projects within the education sector.

* Oversee feasibility studies, planning applications, and stakeholder engagement.

* Manage project budgets, risk assessments, and programme schedules.

* Liaise with contractors, architects, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.

* Ensure compliance with building regulations, health & safety, and sustainability standards.

* Act as the main client representative, ensuring project objectives align with stakeholder needs.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in managing construction projects within the education sector.

* Strong knowledge of JCT & NEC contracts and procurement routes.

* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

* Ability to lead teams and drive project success.

* Relevant qualifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB, APM) preferred
