About the Role: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants with prior experience working in a classroom or with children. As a member of our supportive teaching team, you will play a key role in helping to deliver high-quality education and support to our students. The ideal candidate will be proactive, compassionate, and possess a strong understanding of child development and classroom dynamics. It is desirable that the candidate is available for long term placements

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and supporting students' learning.

* Provide one-to-one or small group support for students who require additional help.

* Encourage and support students’ social and emotional development.

* Help prepare teaching materials and resources.

* Supervise students during lunch and break times.

* Support students with their individual needs, including special educational needs (SEN) if applicable.

* Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Essential Criteria:

* Previous experience working in a classroom or with children (in a school, childcare, or similar environment).

* A positive and proactive attitude toward supporting children’s learning.

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.

* Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when required.

* Understanding of child safeguarding and health and safety protocols.

Desirable Criteria:

* A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification).

* Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).

* A passion for education and helping children reach their full potential.
