A1 Jobs are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and welding, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. This role involves working with various materials and requires proficiency in both hand and power tools. The Fabricator will be responsible for assembling components and ensuring that all products meet our stringent quality standards.

Duties

* Fabricate components according to specifications using sheet metal and other materials.

* Assemble parts and products using hand tools and power tools.

* Perform stick welding to join metal parts securely.

* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.

* Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.

* Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication process, applying mechanical knowledge as needed.

Requirements

* Proven experience in fabrication, welding, or a related field is essential.

* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.

* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

* Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.

* Experience with stick welding techniques is highly desirable.

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.

* Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work consistently.
