The Head of Marketing is a standout role for a seasoned marketer, eager for a new challenge, combining their marketing prowess with their passion for agriculture. The head of marketing will be collaborating closely with the Managing Director. The head of marketing will formulate and deliver a marketing strategy that ensures successful growth of its farmer-centric supply chain whilst accelerating the adoption of our client’s premium products by consumers, restaurants and retailers. The head of marketing is a hands-on role, you will immerse yourself in the heart of the business, engaging with farmers and customers alike, proactively increasing brand exposure and presence within the industry. The Company: A prestigious, rapidly growing and innovative integrated supply chain business, founded on a sustainable farmer to consumer supply network. Supplying major retailers, high-end outlets and direct to consumer, the business is in a rapid growth mode with an exciting phase of expansion and development in progress.

Role Responsibilities:

* To develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports the business objectives

* To lead digital marketing initiatives including website management, SEO and social media, working closely with specialist agencies

* To deliver marketing campaigns, product launches and promotional activities to enhance brand reputation

* To lead, inspire and develop a high performing collaborative marketing team

* To evaluate and report on marketing performance, analysing effectiveness and ROI

* To prepare and manage the marketing budget

* To stay abreast of market trends and analysing consumer behaviour to identify opportunities for growth

* To collaborate cross functionally with sales teams, farmers, and industry partners

* To participate in industry events, trade shows and conferences increasing brand exposure across the UK and Internationally

Skills you will need:
Essential:

* Proven experience as Head of Marketing or similar senior role, preferably in food and/or agriculture

* Educated to degree level in marketing, communications or a related subject

* A strong understanding of the food supply chain principles

* An understanding of agriculture and livestock production systems

* A track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies

* Highly proficient in the use of digital marketing tools, platforms and web analytics

* Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

* Highly organised and driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

* An analytical and strategic mindset able to make data driven decisions

* A creative and innovative thinker, able to work collaboratively to achieve business goals

* Full UK driving licence and the willingness to travel to industry events and farm visits

Remuneration: A very competitive salary and package commensurate with the successful candidate's experience
