Long-term contract opportunity available to work on HS2!

A leading engineering consultancy are now in the market for a Structural Engineer - Designer's Site Representative (DSR) to work on HS2 in West London.

The Structural Engineer will be expected to handle various queries arising from site by the contractor on the underground structures (particularly including the shafts) and act as the key figure communicating between the design house and the team on site.

Job information:

12 month contract initially, with a good opportunity of a long term extension beyond this
3 days minimum on site (West London)
Act as a key link between the contractor and the engineering consultants design team
Handle any technical queries the contractor has regarding design on site
Full time hours (Monday - Friday)

Job requirements:

Must have extensive experience of working as a Structural Engineer
Must have strong experience of underground structures, ideally shafts
Ideally chartered (ICE or MIStructE, but consideration given to those without
Good understanding of both British standards and Eurocodes
Must have the right to live and work in the UK
