The Opportunity
This company is a leader in designing, delivering, and maintaining strategic and complex nuclear assets for customers across global energy markets, with extensive experience in the nuclear industry, this company is passionate about nuclear energy and its role in the modern world. As a result, they are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to work on driving some of the most complex nuclear problems both safely and sustainably who provide commercial and technical solutions that span the entire life cycle of the nuclear industry.
The Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for working closely with the mechanical engineering team to drive key nuclear projects working from the HPC site.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
* You will be responsible for making clarifications of the deliverables necessary for the construction with the help of the Back Office who carried out the studies.
* Gathering input data, analysing/updating hypothesis notes and loading description reports.
* Performing mechanical stresses analyses.
* piping flexibility calculations and calculation of piping supports and performing mechanical stresses analyses.
* Analysing the mechanical behaviour of the piping network.
You Will Have The Following Qualifications & Experience
* Science Mechanical engineering degree.
* First experience in Civil Work and Steel structures design and constructions activities.
* Knowledge of the HPC project or previous EPR and associated studies/doctrine is a real asset Ability to prioritise.
* to manage numerous interfaces, to question and understand the imperatives of other downstream disciplines Ability to meet commitments and deadlines.
It's Great If You Also Have The Following
* Knowledge of EUROCODE, RCC-M code
