Location: Saint Austell

Remuneration: £26,000 - £28,000neg + bonuses

The role of the Internal BDM – Fixing Systems will involve:

* Internal BDM role, selling a high end range of manufactured fixing & support systems

* Most of your time will be spent selling into M&E contractors with a lesser focus on main & sub-contractors

* Your main responsibility will be developing new business; prospecting sales leads and nurturing them to a point where they can be passed to the external sales team

* Contacting lapsed/dormant accounts to redevelop spending relationships

* Monitor ongoing projects to ensure no sales opportunities are missed

* Dealing with all enquiries via telephone and email

* Providing excellent customer service at all times

* Dealing customers spending a minimum of £1,000 p/m

* Offer technical support to clients, distributors and sales team

The ideal applicant will be Internal BDM – Fixing Systems with:

* Must have 3+ years sales experience within construction

* Experience selling fixings, fastenings, support systems, tools, plastic ducting systems or anything else related beneficial but not essential

* Proactive, initiative, ‘think on your feet’ approach

* Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner

* Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously

* Highly organised with good time management and administrative skills

* Computer and Microsoft Office literacy
