As part of their strategic growth, we are looking for a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer to join our talented team.

Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned Principal Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer to lead and manage mechanical design projects from conception. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical systems design, a proven track record of successful project delivery, and strong leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the mechanical design process for building services projects, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and sustainable solutions.

* Develop and review detailed mechanical engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.

* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project integration.

* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

* Conduct site visits, inspections, and technical assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.

* Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and documentation to clients and stakeholders.

* Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure best practices in mechanical building services design.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

* Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent professional recognition.

* Extensive experience in mechanical building services design, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.

* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and industry-specific tools.

* In-depth knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.

* Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
