Quality Engineer – Hatfield, Hertfordshire.

BlueGate is seeking a talented Quality Engineer to join our client's dynamic team in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.

Key responsibilities include ensuring the highest quality standards across goods-in, production, and dispatch processes. You will be involved in the New Product Development (NPD) process to ensure designs are manufacturable and will work as part of a team to drive continuous improvement. Maintaining ongoing quality control requirements and specifications across multiple departments is essential. Experience with ISO9001 would be highly advantageous.

You will also be responsible for refining the Quality Management System (QMS), reviewing production design packs, and training new production staff. Independent judgement and the ability to combine insights from multiple team members are crucial. Continuous learning and skill development are expected for all employees.

Experience and Skills Required:

- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Quality Engineer.

- Familiarity with various manufacturing processes and materials.

- Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards.

- Experience dealing with manufacturing partners.

Academic Qualifications:

- Degree level or equivalent.

- Background in mechanical, or electrical/electronic engineering is preferable.
