Senior Design Manager - High End Commercial & Residential

After a very successful start to 2025, a principle contractor continue to set the pace in winning varied projects. They wish to appoint a Senior Design Manager for their new flagship £65M scheme in London.

Having built their reputation for delivering complex refurbishment projects within London they are now broadening their portfolio within commercial and residential.

You will find the role suitable if you have between 10 - 15 years Design Management experience with a principle contractor on large residential schemes.

Taking projects from preconstruction, your role will require you to effectively manage the process and flow of design information to allow projects to meet their important deadlines.

Your integral role will encompass the following duties.

• Liaise with the construction team to manage the design and development process
• Manage the design process top ensure compliance with programme and procedures
• Ratify the design/value engineering
• Arranging and managing statutory authorities
• Co-ordinate work packages
• Attend and sometimes chair regular design co-ordination meetings
• Receive, filter and distribute design information
