Our client, a leading provider in the marine manufacturing sector, is nearing completion on a project which now requires additional labour.

The contract will run for approx. 4 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

Performing welding tasks using FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) techniques
Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings specific to marine applications
Ensuring all welds meet industry standards and project specifications
Conducting inspections and tests to maintain high quality of work
Collaborating with other team members to complete projects on schedule
Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
Adhering to all safety protocols and marine regulations

Job Requirements:

Experience in welding, specifically using FCAW techniques
Strong understanding of marine welding standards and safety practices
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Attention to detail to ensure high-quality welds
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Relevant certification in welding or equivalent qualification

Benefits:

£23/h Umb co Weekday hours, £34.50/h Weekend hours
7 days, avaialble up to 12 hour days
