Job Summary:
As a Press Brake Operative, you will be responsible for operating advanced TRUMPF Press Brakes to bend and form sheet metal components to exact specifications. You will work with thin sheet metal, typically ranging from 0.9mm to 5mm in thickness. You will ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards, paying close attention to accuracy and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate TRUMPF Press Brakes, including programming and tooling adjustments, to bend sheet metal according to production drawings and specifications.
* Work with thin sheet metal (0.9mm - 5mm) to form components accurately.
* Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine the correct machine settings and adjustments.
* Ensure all parts meet quality standards by conducting regular checks and inspections.
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of press brake machinery to ensure continuous operation.
* Adhere to health and safety standards, ensuring a safe and clean work environment.
* Work efficiently within the assigned hours, ensuring all tasks are completed to meet production targets.
Requirements:
* Proven experience operating TRUMPF Press Brakes or similar CNC-controlled press brakes.
* Familiarity with bending thin sheet metal, particularly in the 0.9mm to 5mm range.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
* Basic understanding of mechanical principles and ability to perform machine maintenance.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to work the scheduled hours: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 12:30 AM; Friday, 11:30 AM - 4:30 PM
