Empowering Learning are looking for Teacher of SEND to work in an impressive SEND Specialist Setting in Nottingham. Experience working in a school setting and experience with SEND pupils is favourable.
Required Experience:
QTS or Equivalent
Taught across subjects
Be highly organised with excellent communication skills
Have a desire to work with, inspire and support children
Have an interest in supporting young people with a variety of SEND
Have experience supporting children with additional needs
Be a part of the school team taking part in the wider school environment
Have an understanding of SEMH and Behavioural TeachingJob Description:
Class teacher to a group and day to day running of the class
Teacher children across a wide range lessons/school activities
Supporting staff/children during lunch and break times
Managing pupils personalised learning based on their individual need.
Delivering to small groups
Collecting evidence of children's work to support their assessment
Managing Teaching Assistants within the class settingSupport:
Dedicated consultant allocated to support you with any questions or concerns
