Accelerate Teaching is delighted to offer a dynamic opportunity for a committed Learning Support Assistant at a prestigious secondary school in Leeds. We are seeking a motivated individual to join a dedicated team starting from September 2024. Role Overview:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the educational experience for students. Your responsibilities will include providing tailored support to students with diverse learning needs, assisting teachers in creating an inclusive classroom environment, and fostering an atmosphere where every student can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with students to offer one-on-one or small group support.
Assist in the preparation and delivery of lesson materials and activities.
Provide support to students with special educational needs, helping them to engage with the curriculum effectively.
Collaborate with teaching staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
Create a positive and supportive learning environment, promoting student confidence and independence.What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar educational role.
Strong understanding of SEN (Special Educational Needs) and strategies for supporting diverse learners.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
A proactive and adaptable approach, with a genuine passion for fostering student development and learning.
