PURPOSE OF ROLE:

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading large, complex projects across the business, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with company objectives. They will also play a key role in mentoring and supporting Project Managers, embedding best practices, and driving continuous improvement within the PMO.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead and deliver large-scale, high-impact projects across different business areas.

* Provide coaching and guidance to Project Managers, ensuring consistency in delivery.

* Proactively engage with stakeholders across all levels to drive project success.

* Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies to keep projects on track.

* Maintain clear project documentation and reporting in line with PMO governance.

* Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, adapting to different working styles.

* Monitor and manage project spend ensuring it aligns with functional budget and provides expected benefits.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Knowledge & Qualifications

* Familiarity with a project management tool like MS project or similar

* Hold a Project Management certification

Skills

* Organised and persistent, with strong problem-solving abilities and a high level of accountability.

* Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels.

Experience

* Proven track record in delivering large-scale projects across different business areas.
