Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum plus £5,000 car allowance

We are looking for a dynamic, professional, highly motivated and experienced Contracts Manager to join our team on the start of this exciting journey.

Purpose of the Job:
To manage and lead the contract support team, overseeing all operational, commercial, and financial aspects of the contract or portfolio of contracts. Ensure high standards of customer service, exceptional contract delivery, and achievement of external and internal KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:

* Lead the contract support team to ensure exceptional customer service and efficient contract delivery.

* Ensure all operational KPIs are met, and assets remain compliant.

* Manage the daily operations including staff planning and resource allocation.

2. Compliance and QSHE:

* Design and implement safe work systems in line with client and company policies to manage and mitigate risks.

* Maintain a robust compliance regime, actively managing any exceptions and risks.

3. Customer Focus:

* Maintain effective relationships with key client contacts and ensure customer focus in all operational activities.

* Handle client complaints and compliments, ensuring resolution and logging on the Quality system.

* Communicate effectively with clients, addressing queries and service requests promptly.

4. Financial Management:

* Assist the Account Manager in developing a financial plan for the contract, focusing on revenue, profit delivery, cost reduction, and contract growth.

* Oversee invoicing processes, ensuring all chargeable works are accurately captured and submitted on time.

* Support financial performance and coordinate additional costs related to suppliers or subcontractors.

5. Growth and Improvement:

* Actively manage asset condition and provide clients with management information to support asset replacement and contract growth.

* Encourage continuous improvement and identify better ways of working to drive efficiencies.

6. Leadership and Team Development:

* Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and support to the contract support team.

* Ensure team members receive necessary training and development to reach their full potential.

* Foster a learning environment and promote company values.

7. Reporting and Documentation:

* Create, update, and manage reports, spreadsheets, and schedules as required.

* Produce high-quality documentation from supporting systems within required timescales.

8. Meetings and Communication:

* Attend client meetings as necessary, taking responsibility for appropriate actions and collaborating with the service delivery team to resolve issues.

* Share information and updates regularly with team members, clients, and end users.

Essential Requirements:

Experience in Total Facilities Management (TFM) business.

Experience in Mechanical Engineering.

NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent training in Health and Safety.

Recognised formal training to at least C&G level (preferably ONC/HNC or higher).

Experience in managing direct and subcontracted engineers.

Strong understanding of compliance requirements across all service delivery areas.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint).

Excellent communication skills with strong numeracy and literacy.

Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads.

Desirable Experience:

Appointed Person in one or more disciplines.

Proven track record of delivering high levels of customer service.

Experience in identifying and delivering contract growth opportunities.

Person Specification

Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Good computer skills including Microsoft programs and web-based platforms.

GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English or equivalent.
