Our client is seeking a reliable, dedicated Warehouse Operator / Delivery Driver to join their team in delivering authentic Italian products. You will play a vital role in the daily operations such as managing inventory, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining warehouse integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive, inspect, and organise incoming shipments of Italian food products.
* Maintain a clean, organised warehouse, adhering to food safety standards.
* Safely operate forklift to move and stack pallets.
* Prepare accurate customer orders for delivery.
* Conduct routine inventory checks and report discrepancies promptly.
Delivery Driver:
* Safely operate delivery vehicles for timely product transportation.
* Plan efficient delivery routes.
* Load and unload products securely.
* Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
* Maintain accurate delivery records and perform routine vehicle inspections.
Qualifications:
* College or equivalent.
* Valid clean driver's license.
* Warehouse and delivery driving experience, preferably in the food industry.
* Forklift certification and experience.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Physical ability to lift and move heavy packages.
You will be able to lift objects/boxes, pick and pack products in a timely manner and have a clean Full UK Driving Licence. You will have an in-date Forklift Licence.
