PMLD Teaching Assistant - Chorley:

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a teaching assistant to join a lovely school near to Chorley. You will be supporting children with complex needs.

Although experience supporting special needs in a school setting is preferred, any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs is what actually matters in this role to nurture and support the children. This role does require personal care.

Position Details:

Location: Chorley
Position: PMLD Teaching Assistant
Type of Work: Temporary
Full time/Part time: Full time only
Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm, Mon to Fri
Minimum Rate of Pay: £105 per day, depending on experience
Start date: ASAP
End date: Ongoing, Temp to PermExperience, Training & Qualifications:

Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Any personal or professional experience supporting children with complex needs
Any qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desired
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desiredTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional referencesOTHER
