Here at GSL Education we have a really Fantastic role for a Dynamic SEMH Teacher who specialises in English

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEMH Teacher to join a specialist setting in Tyneside. As a SEMH Teacher, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and inspiring students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, helping them achieve their full potential in English lessons  The setting has a good reputation and you will join a motivated and friendly teaching team . The role is Monday to Friday 8.30-4.30 Term Time only with a high liklihood of a permananent role for the right candidate. ( conditions apply ). The setting is easy to reach by car and public transport . This role will commence ASAP 

Key Responsibilities of an SEMH Teacher:

Delivering engaging and tailored English lessons to meet the various needs of the students in your class
Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitoring student progress.
Building positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Implementing innovative teaching strategies to foster a love of English.
Motivation of a friendly team of support staff
As an SEMH Teacher you will have the following:

Uk recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience working with SEMH students or a real desire to work in this area 
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Kindness, patience and enthusiasm
English specialism or Experience 
An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to complete a new application

Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including a relevant enhanced DBS.
