Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Marine

Job Duties:

Design, develop and maintain mechanical systems for marine applications
Conduct testing and analysis of marine equipment and machinery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
Provide technical support and guidance on marine mechanical systems
Participate in the procurement and installation of marine equipment
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Professional engineering certification
Experience in marine engineering
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience:

Previous experience in marine engineering

Knowledge and Skills:

• The role holder will require knowledge and experience of naval and / or commercial ship systems with the experience to support system and spatial integration issues with other disciplines.

• Experience with Ship aviation design is desirable.

• Experience with CAD software like AutoCAD or FORAN is desirable.

• Experience of Certification through Naval Authority Groups is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience in military and defence engineering projects

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in an office and marine environment. Occasional travel may be required to visit project sites or suppliers
