Financial Controller

£50k-£60k per annum

Monday – Friday / General Office Hours

Wrexham

Our client based in the Wrexham currently have an opportunity for a Financial Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.

Performance Objectives

* Preparation of monthly management accounts.

* Cashflow forecasting.

* Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.

* Payroll preparation and submission to bureau.

* Profit and loss margin analysis by products.

* Lead the budgeting and forecasting process.

* Oversee stock management system.

* Present key financial information to senior management.

* Key contact for auditors and banking partners.

* Lead in the development and improvement of processes, controls and IT systems.

* Management of a small finance team/HR administration.

* Liaising with auditors for year-end statutory accounts preparation.

Person Specification

* The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.

* Experience of working within an SME.

* Competent leadership skills are crucial.

* The role holder will be required to partner with the MD.

* Excellent staff management skills are crucial.

* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
